Grr! Since some of you are following my house story (seen here http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=24315 ) I thought it would be a good place to whinge.

 

This afternoon is just being really annoying so far. Thankfully not for any huge or serious reason.

 

I'm supposed to be studying from home, and there is this loud music with very loud bass going from one of my neighbours' houses. I can't concentrate. I had to shut my window, but I can still hear it, and now it's hot!!! I just want some peace and quiet to do my work. It's hard enough to concentrate on something that I don't want to do as it is

 

Also.... I am just waiting and waiting to hear from the real estate people about what time the inspection is tomorrow. It's 3pm and the thing is tomorrow.... how is anybody supposed to manage with such short notice?

 

I called them on Friday and they just said "We still don't have a time yet, but we if you're on the list we will call you".

I feel like if it gets to the end of today, I should really call them- I know for a fact that I am the last person on the list (or very close to it) because I contacted them after they'd stopped advertising. I just can't trust that they'll call me if it's this late and I'm the last person and they obviously had heaps of interest. But I don't want to call them because they told me that they would call me -- twice. I don't want to be a pain or pushy, especially because I got this "we will call you" vibe off them.... but sometimes you have to be pushy to get what you want and I don't like that at all

 

I really don't like the idea of it being tomorrow and me still not knowing though... I have to know today so we can even work out who takes the car, how I'm getting there, if my husband will make it there or not, etc. Why are they keeping me waiting so long

 

 

Whew that feels better but the beatboxing is still going strong

Update....

 

I rang, and I guess the inspection won't be tomorrow after all there has been some complications and they'll ring later in the week with a new time.

 

After I waited anxiously by the phone all day I am not happy that I am now even less certain about when it's going to be and whether I'll be available to go.

Chin up! If the house is meant to be, it will happen in your favor.

And i REALLY hope it works out in your favor

 

Try playing some of your favorite music loud enough to drown out the neighbours booming too - neighbors constant *DOOF DOOF DOOF* can get really annoying

Yeah I'm feeling a little better about the house now, because the property manager really knows that we're interested and I think she will ring us- I just hope it's at a time that suits. Can do nothing but wait now.

 

But I am not happy - just found out where the music is coming from and it's new people who have just moved in, so I hope it doesn't continue lots more

I am a big believer that everything happens for a reason. You will find the house for you, when the time is right.

Try turning on some white noise, like static from the radio, that will help to drown out the music.

LOL I would have suggested putting some Beethoven on and cranking the volume - that should make them stop.

its a good sighn that the house inspection has been pushed back as mabe the house is a surething but universe is putting everything in timeing i remember you saying something about you loving this home but it was earlier than you really wanted ...i really am hopeing you get it darl be pationt timming is everything and moving is stressful so mabe everything is going to happen in secwance ...as for loud music i would simply just go over and politly say you were studing and please just lower the volume for a while

if that didnt work then would just put head phones on block out everything
