Posted January 25, 200916 yr i have two 2 week old lutino and if i breed it with a blue cinamon will the chicks be white lacewings or yellow lacewings (in the future of corse)
January 25, 200916 yr You will not breed any Lacewings unless the genes crossover. Chance of that happening is 3%.
January 25, 200916 yr To breed a lacewing from a cinnamon and and lutino will take 2 generations. First you must first produce a cock bird that is split for both mutations. Mate your lutino to a blue cinnamon, then choose a male chick from the clutch, it will be split to both mutations. Then mate this bird to a blue hen and you have about a 6.25% chance of getting a white lacewing

Using your pairing suggestions I make it a 0.846% chance of breeding a Lacewing.
