A New Baby For A Deserving Family...

Featured Replies

As many of you remember, My brother in law's sister and her husband lost their 5 month of son to SIDS in February last year. (Original topic). They became pregnant again and she has just had the baby. OSCAR... another beautiful son. Everything is good with mother and child. I would just like to ask for everyone's thoughts, wishes and prayers that this new son is healthy, and grows up to be a strong and loving member of their family. I have faith that this will be the case, and they deserve it so much... Thanks all.

(On a side note, if you are reading the original topic for the first time. My grandpa did make it through the surgery and many more months, but died on the 21st September... Grandpa's topic)

It is so devastating when you loose a child. Congratulations on becomine a new Aunt :(

My thoughts and prayers are with her, I pray that little Oscar will grow to be a happy young man :D

Thanks guys... I'm not actually an auntie... It's my brother in laws sister who has had the baby... but thanks anyway... Everything is good at the moment and I'm sure it will stay that way!

the family is in my prayers...wonderful news :(

I send them my best wishes.

Sorry to hear about your Grandpa though.

Side note: If she is your brother inlaw's sister, doesn't that make her your sister inlaw?

I'm not sure... wouldn't it only be my sister in law if I had a brother and he got married??? Because... isn't she like one step back from sister in law???

Oh goodness. :(

I depends which way the marriage goes. I guess.

I was thinking in terms of say if you had a husband and it was his brother and sister.

But you really meant your sister's husband's sister???

It's so confusing. lol

I think you are correct. I just had the wrong person married. lol

lol... it is so confusing, I agree. Yes. It's my sisters husband (my brother in law)... HIS sister. I googled it and we are no relation at all...

thats so good im glad they had the courage to bring another beautiful life into the world im sure he will be blessed and has some one watching over him

you could if you chose to ask your grandfather to watch over him and aleart them to any problems

i know that sounds compleatly stupid but i would

i know my friend watches over my little girl

she has shown me its her in many diffrent ways

its unkanny the way she has been angeliclly watched even be for her birth

i would love to see a picture of baby he also has a strong name so im positive he will be fine

god belss all the same

Oh, for some reason SIDS has been a huge fear of mine ever since I first heard about it when I was 6 years old!!! It is SUCH a terrible thing  I'm so sad to hear that they went through that and hope and pray that things go very well with their new son and that they will be able to go through a healthy grieving process for their first son as it continues to impact upon their lives
