Nah she wants to tame it I think that's why

Girls are just as lovely as cocks when given lots of attention, they just dont talk the the boys do.

Yeah, give it a go for a few weeks. Maybe if she isn't remotely tame after about a month you can look for another baby, but taming is something that requires patience and hard work, so you'd be better off trying it for quite a while before you give up and try again with a different bird... because it could be just as hard with a young boy. You never know til you try!

okay sounds like hard work as yesterday when i put my finger up to her she tried to bite it! Nasty!

Boys do that too. Any untame budgie will either try to bite you or run/fly away so that's pretty normal! Cosmo does it now even though he's tame, especially if he's not in a very playful mood.

If she's fully hoeing into your finger then take it away, otherwise don't do anything if she bites- by that I mean don't force it even closer if she's trying to tell you she doesn't like it, but maybe just leave it there for a few seconds longer after she bites, just to show her it's not actually going to hurt her if she doesn't attack it.

Hi,

I think its a girl but im not sure :D
