January 21, 200916 yr OH WELL you can still tame girls. they are just a lot harder very pretty i must say
January 21, 200916 yr Nah she wants to tame it I think that's why Girls are just as lovely as cocks when given lots of attention, they just dont talk the the boys do.
January 21, 200916 yr Yeah, give it a go for a few weeks. Maybe if she isn't remotely tame after about a month you can look for another baby, but taming is something that requires patience and hard work, so you'd be better off trying it for quite a while before you give up and try again with a different bird... because it could be just as hard with a young boy. You never know til you try!
January 21, 200916 yr Author okay sounds like hard work as yesterday when i put my finger up to her she tried to bite it! Nasty!
January 21, 200916 yr Boys do that too. Any untame budgie will either try to bite you or run/fly away so that's pretty normal! Cosmo does it now even though he's tame, especially if he's not in a very playful mood. If she's fully hoeing into your finger then take it away, otherwise don't do anything if she bites- by that I mean don't force it even closer if she's trying to tell you she doesn't like it, but maybe just leave it there for a few seconds longer after she bites, just to show her it's not actually going to hurt her if she doesn't attack it.
