January 18, 200916 yr really? is that good? I find it really hard to look at budgies in a dollar value sense... I mean I love them all but each bird is different... What's the going rate for lacewings?
January 18, 200916 yr Re the price of birds....in particular clearwings. It is hard to say what a clearwing costs just as it is hard to say what any show type budgie costs. Depending on the bird, the breeder and the price the breeder puts on his bird...a clearwing or any other kind of budgie could range from $10 to $500 or into the thousands. Its all relative to the standard of the bird and the price the breeder commands and ultimately what you the purchaser are prepared to pay. Dave bought two clearwings and a split clearwing today. The clearwings had excellent clear wing markings, two dark green clearwing hens and a large grey normal split to clearwing....he has authorised me to say he paid $50 for all three

The $30+ is the price one of the top Clearwing breeders in this state quoted, but of course you can get cheaper, it just depends what you want.
