January 12, 200916 yr Author And anothter cat! lol my mother-in-law's. She used to be mine, but i've moved in and out of this house atleast 5 times and every time i moved the cat she would freak out so the last time that happened I ended up giving her to my mum in law cos she loves her lol Jazzy not to good indoor photo sleeping. She's a bit big for her basket now, but she still loves it. lol I've sorta given up taking photos of her, cos she always closes her eyes.. it's pretty funny though..
January 12, 200916 yr These are my 3 cats, Shanti, my dad found her under a house when she was just a couple of days old, up the road was a dead cat we thught might have been her mother,, She was a wild cat so Shanti is sort of a rescued stray, She is 7 years old Pursia, we got her from the SPCA a year ago as a kitten And this is a picture of Pursia and Saffron who we got from the SPCA 2 years ago as a kitten, Pursia and sffron hate each other, pursia thinks shes the queen of the house,
January 12, 200916 yr Author Pursia is gorgeous! and I've always love ginger cats. Shanti is a cutie too. I used to have an adopted stray. Me and my aunty found 3 kittens in a bin behind a factory and we took them all home. Lots of scratches and bites later, we had the 3 best behaved cats ever!
January 12, 200916 yr Oh I ove that Russian Blue, I miss my russian so much, I'll post some pics when Ican upload them
January 12, 200916 yr Jigsaw is beautiful. She reminds of my cat that sadly passed away a couple year back. She had a good innings though almost 20 years old.
January 12, 200916 yr Last January my sweet Lilac point Siamese "Milo" passed away. He was 15 years old. I thought we'd lose my Tawny Somali "Zulu" soon after because they were so attached. Zulu passed away on New Year's day this year also aged 15 years - Somalis normally only make 10-12 years. They will both be sadly missed, but never replaced. They brought me such joy - Milo the sophisticated gentleman, and Zulu the wild, flamboyant one! They were the true odd couple. Milo: Zulu: Sorry for the poor quality scanned photos, doing a big tidy up at the moment and can't find anything.
January 12, 200916 yr Author Milo and Zulu were gorgeous! sorry for ur lose 2budgies. lol oh my god! jwancia your are so right... bit of an age gap though.. Jigsaw is only about 4 months old. mb, she isn't a russian blue! She's a moggy that look exactly like a russian blue.. Her mum was black and her dad was gray and white..
January 12, 200916 yr Milo and Zulu were gorgeous! sorry for ur lose 2budgies. Thanks, they had good long lives
January 12, 200916 yr beautiful, and thank you for getting this post started when I have the moment to get into my photobucket I will post my kitties too Edited January 12, 200916 yr by Elly
January 13, 200916 yr My first cat was Cuddles, she lived to be 17 1/2 years old. She bonded only to me and l would even call her momma. What l miss the most about her, every night when it was bedtime. She would go to my bedroom door and meow very loudly for me to come and go to bed with her. She would not stop meowing until l was in bed with her. After Cuddles passed away in 2003. 3 weeks later l could not stand the pain in my heart that ached really badly. l found a local Siamese rescue shelter, and l told them all about my first cat. They hooked me up with my current cat Sweetpea. l love her so much even though she is so different then my first kitty( which is to be expected). She is 5 years old Edited January 13, 200916 yr by birdluv
January 14, 200916 yr Author aww, sorry for your lose birdlove Cuddles was beautiful! Sweetpea is a cutey, I love her name to! My sister used to call me that, cos I used to make mum plant sweet pea's in the garden all the time. Anywho.. My fiance's cat, Puss. she thought she was hiding.. I've got the birds inside today, cos it is stupidly hot. hoseing them doen did nothing, they were dry again in 5 mins. anyway.. the cat. kept trying to eat my birds, so she's been locked in mum-in-laws room I can't get any better photos of her, she hates me. :happy-dancing:
January 14, 200916 yr I can't post a picture of all my cats as I didn't have a digital camera back then but I have had quite a few enter my life. Mahria is still alive she is my 1st cat and is 17yrs old, here is a picture of her, she was a stray that we picked up when we went to visit my girlfirend in college. Pepper was my 2nd cat, I don't have any pictures of her on digital, she passed away in 2004, she was all mine and so pretty, she was black and tan - a tortishell is what they call them (that is what Mahria is too but a diluted) Jasmine, was our solid grey cat, she passed away too soon, my husband found her in his shop that he worked at when she was 4wks old, she was very skittish cat. Then there is Maxx and Mollii they are brother and sister and are my kids' cats. We got them for free in front of a drug store the lady had rescued the mom and was getting ride of the kittens that she had. Here is Mollii, she was watching Merlin through the glass Here is Maxx, sitting outside with his leash
January 14, 200916 yr Here is Mollii, she was watching Merlin through the glass I love the look on her face, Elly! Classic cat inquisitiveness! Here are the two cats I grew up with: This is Horse. We got her when I was five, and she was put down just last year, as her poor old body just couldn't keep going. She was 22 and was a really dignified old lady! As a kitten she was super fiesty and my little sister and I were always going to school with the trademark cat scratches up our arms and legs! These photos were taken last year when she spent most of the day sleeping (like most old people do!) And this is Benjii. He is 13 years old and likes sitting in boxes! He's a really sooky, clingy cat... very cuddleable!
