Posted January 11, 200916 yr Hi I'm Tamara I'll be 12 in April and my love is Animals, my budgies are my favourite pets, which have just had my first lot of babies. I'm very interested in becoming a vet or RSPCA Officer when I'm older. Any advise on keeping the babies and parents in good health would be appreciated.
January 11, 200916 yr Welcome Tamara and what gorgeous pictures! My advice is to give them lots of fresh veggies like grated carrott and silverbeet and eggs that have been boiled for 20 minutes and allowed to cool and mashed whole for calcium. It seems there are not enough avian vets around (vets that specialize in birds) this might be a great job for you when you are older? Welcome again, Trish.
