There are many hobbies that compliment each other.

Eg Cooking and Eating ;)

Walking and Diet loss.

I have found that the best hobbies to compliment Budgerigar Breeding and Showing is - Woodworking, Social Events and now Photography.

I just bought, on Ebay, a new Canon EOS 1000d camera and have started to learn about good photography. Hence the link in my signature.

I have many subjects - Budgerigars.

Last night I decided to try some Night photography with out the flash.

Here are some of the shots...... Don't worry the Budgies will be coming, (When they stand still  )

All these photos were taken at night with out a flash and with normal general lighting. No Spot or Flood Lights.

The top one was 30 sec.

The others I can't remember. I took a shot and if not good enough reset the shutter speed until i was happy... I should have jotted the figures down. ;)

Love the colour and definition of this one ;)
