Posted January 10, 200916 yr There are many hobbies that compliment each other. Eg Cooking and Eating Walking and Diet loss. I have found that the best hobbies to compliment Budgerigar Breeding and Showing is - Woodworking, Social Events and now Photography. I just bought, on Ebay, a new Canon EOS 1000d camera and have started to learn about good photography. Hence the link in my signature. I have many subjects - Budgerigars. Last night I decided to try some Night photography with out the flash. Here are some of the shots...... Don't worry the Budgies will be coming, (When they stand still ) My Home. Aviary at Night.. Birds have gone to bed. Just a Plant on the table. Every Man needs a Good Blonde All these photos were taken at night with out a flash and with normal general lighting. No Spot or Flood Lights.

January 14, 200916 yr Great pics Daz. I think the shot of your Dad is the best. You captured great character in his face. I am glad you didn't have him do the "happy pose" but rather attempted to capture an essence or mood. Well done
