Posted January 9, 200916 yr Hi all! I'm new to the site and thought I would introduce myself and my budgies I have two adorable 'children' in my flock, Leo and Bitchy. Leo is an older model, hatched back in 2001, but I've had him since he was 6 weeks old Bitchy is our little hen, named so because of her personality, she's extremely bossy! We actually didn't intend to call her that but it stuck, a tad embarrassing when people ask what her name is She was bought as a chick back in August last year. And that is my little family! I look forward to joining in on the forums and learning more about keeping my babies happy and healthy Lynelle
January 9, 200916 yr Welcome to the forum and thanks for giving us those wonderful photos. Your birds are beautiful, especially the colours of Leo. I also want to congratulate you on your naming. I think everyone of us who has ever handled a female bird and been bitten has at one stage called the hen a little b@#*h. For you to adopt that as a name, well, you earnt my respect straight away, and it gave me a good chuckle. Once more, welcome and I hope you enjoy it here.
January 9, 200916 yr haha, yeah, those hen bites can cain!! Welcome! Your babies are sooo incredibly gorgeous

January 9, 200916 yr very nice birds, love their names , welcome to the forum, you should enter one of your pics for Budgie of the Month in the Competition Section.
January 10, 200916 yr They are beautiful and look like they both have a lot of character. Maybe you need to come up with a fake name for Bitchy that you can tell people like bosses and grandmothers, if it so happens to come up in conversation
January 10, 200916 yr Author Thanks! :sadsorry: Funny you say that, I did actually amend her name once, I sent a photo in to a magazine but said her name was 'Witchy' instead since I don't think they would have been too keen on printing her real name
