I am please to report that the babies are being fed and fine at the bottom of the cage, it looks like one was ready to fledge anyway. A baby from the other cage has fledged also today as has one of my T.C.B. and Albino chicks! I'll take some pics later today!

ThanksSailorwolf, I have moved both the offending logs. I wish I had seen the danger before it happened. Surely it would have happened before but I doubt that the previous owners would have cared or noticed!

I just read this thread from beginning to end Trish, and I have to say, I am amazed, and incredibly impressed, by all the effort you have gone to and the concern you have shown for these birds.

 

they were obviously neglected but you have saved them. Not only have you given these birds the possibility of a better life, but you have, through you concern and compassion, shown us all what a wonderful person you are and just how big of a heart you have.

Wow, l just found this thread and all l can say is wow.

Trish you have done such an awesome job in caring for all these budgies.

Those people are terrible, l will never understand how some people can treat their pets.
