Hi guys,

 

Hope you are all well, just wanted to say something about the forum. To me a forum is a place where people come together and discuss a common subject. (I know it's not the Macquarie Dictionary version but hey)

 

When it comes to budgies, I am the first to admit that I still know very little. I know alot more than what I did when I first arrived, but in the whole scheme of things I know very little. That said, I may have a differeing opinion to you on an issue, any issue, but that doesn't mean that you can't voice your opinion to me.

 

I don't come here just to meet other people who share a passion for budgies, I come here to relax and enjoy myself, and be involved in friendly discussions in regards to different topics. If you have a differing opinion to the status quo please voice it. Its the only way we learn new things. I may never agree with what you are saying but at least I will have the oportunity to research the topic and learn some more. And a bloke like me needs to learn alot more

I agree with you. Whenever l come on here, l always have a great time reading alot of information and having great discussions, also having a chuckle or two

Thanks! You certainly contribute a lot to these forums yourself.

 

I like how this forum isn't snarky like some other forums can be. People who have a lot of experience are generally very patient when giving the same advice over and over again to new people, and are patient when people come in and admit to having made some very common mistakes. And people asking for advice are generally open to suggestions and willing to learn. And everybody is happy to both ask and answer questions. I know there are times when there are exceptions to this but in general compared to other forums this one has a really great atmosphere.

I would agree with that krosp. I do think its a fun place to be. Most people here that are regulars tend to do things the same way, I just want newbies to come in here and feel free to voice their opinion even if it differs from the "norm."

Way the go Jimmy, I sometimes have a good laugh on here makes a bad day good

Well sometimes when I'm having a bad day, or worrying about something. I come on here and it makes me feel so much better. Everyone is so nice (even when I'm not sometimes ) and everyone loves budgies. You know out of my whole class of 100, no one has budgies! So it is really cool to have a forum where I can talk to other like-minded people about them

I love coming on here too (which is pretty obvious :fear )

It me it keeps my brain active and i love learning new things and all the new friends that have been made are just beautiful
