Posted January 7, 200916 yr Hi everyone I so far have just read and read what I can but I am still very new to this and really cant work out exactly what I have in my little flock. I was hoping you guys n gals could help me identify...just so you know I have tried to look at the other topics and sticky topics but its just not gelling properly. If I work out what I have then that might help to identify in the future Thanks in advance Kyles PS: hope the picture is okay enough to see...not worried about sexing as I have that much worked out (or I think I do...lol)

January 7, 200916 yr Author Thanks everyone...yes that does help a lot!!! I did know the Yellow Face bit...lol...thanks Jimmy that one I worked out but couldnt get the rest? The YF Greywing Sky is moulting and wet in that picture...I did think (mind you a very uneducated think) that it may have been a dilute? as the colours are very very pale...its a pretty bird (I think its a girl) The other one I 'thought" I knew was this one...Opal yellow face blue I thought it might have been a YF Type 2 As you can see I have a lot of learning to still do...all the others apart from the normal green threw me...thanks so much to all that replied
January 7, 200916 yr the opaline yellow face blue is a type II, so you are right, it is an opaline yellow face type 2 blue
January 7, 200916 yr Author Actually I am missing blue birds...lol I think I need some of them just to make my avairy look complete the opaline yellow face blue is a type II, so you are right, it is an opaline yellow face type 2 blueyay...I got one almost right...lol Thanks dave
January 7, 200916 yr I would make one more addition to the bird referred to as a greywing sky, I think it's a cobalt or even mauve or then it has the violet factor. The blue is very darkish kind of diluted blue, at least to be a sky. Would love to see his(/hers) colour closer from back and front. A beautiful flock Kyles!
