Sy was right in the middle of moulting here, hence the shabbyness...hehe..

 

 

Sy after her first bath not long after I'd bought her...she's still crazy for her baths now!

how old is cilla?

hmmm...I think she's about 4 months..yeah, that's about right!

snuggles on the playground is adorable, if you can lighten up the picture so you can see them better you should submit that picture for Budgie of the Month for sure :glare:.

They are beautiful. What do you have there an Opaline YF1 Spangle and a DF Dominant Pied?? Either way whatever they are they are nice!!

haha Chrissy, something along those lines, but I haven't learnt much about all the colour mutations yet I think Jess (jwancia) said Sy is a skyblue opaline spangle and Cilla is a mauve recessive pied...oh, and Sy actually doesn't have any yellow on her face at all..it's completely white..in some of the pictures it is a bit yellow, but that was due to a yellow calcium perch that she liked to rub her face on...I've taken it out of the cage now and Sy's little face has gone back to white...

I don't know my mutations all that well yet either but I try hard and wait for someone to correct me... lol. I thought yellow face... lol... too funny it from her calcium. I also thought DF dom pied, but didn't think to ask if there was an iris ring or not. As I said... either way they are beautiful... good for you!!!! :budgiedance:

Cilla is a dominant pied cobalt. (debatable as to whether she is double factor or single factor)

Cilla is only 4 months olds so wouldn't have an iris ring yet. But as Sailorwolf said, I think Cilla is dom pied not recessive... just an FYI.
