Could this make them sick? They are relentless about. I put it over the mantle that is a hop above they cage. I'm starting to worry about their health.

I have never heard of any ones budgie getting sick from eating news paper.

Never give pages with lots of colored ink, and never give glossy paper... otherwise, regular newspaper is fine

I wouldn't worry to much mine do it in the breeding cages, for mine I think it might be bordom

All by birds in breeding cabinets or in holding cages all rip the paper to shreds. Shame printed office paper is not safe as they would do a great job at shredding sensitive documents

I believe because it's highly processed and contains nasty chemicals.
