There is heaps of information around here that I am sure will help you prepare for the masses of birds headed your way :thankyou: I joined here earlier this year and had no birds, I now have 2, both of which are away in a spa (another members house) preparing to be mothers Once again welcome to the forums, I hope you stay and enjoy your learning experience here.

December 20, 200816 yr Author Thanks all for the Welcome. I'm certainly keen to get hold of some show budgies and show them and from what I've seen, I like the Spangled a lot - especially the greys, but this could change as I find more exotic colours. Hey Liv, nice to be here (and to all those not in the know, I have to admit to knowing **Liv** as we are related.) Time to go off and read some more... Hello and welcome It's great to have you here! December 20, 200816 yr Author We've lugged budgies around from place to place for years, but it was only the recent show types that really caught my eye. Ah, no, I've found a way out - I'll make it a wedding anniversary present instead, BUT I'll wrap it up in paper with nice budgie pictures on it. Edited December 20, 200816 yr by **Liv** fixed quote

December 21, 200816 yr Hi welcome David David is my husband who has recently decided to create a partnership with our show budgies Gee l don't know if that is a bad thing or a good thing
December 21, 200816 yr Author Actually no...umm, I'm trying to ask her and see if I can borrow it. If I can find myself a good blue hen, I wouldn't mind pairing them both up.That's actually where my research is starting - looking at the colour issue and what properties the hen will have and not to have.I'll send him your way after that for some secret men's business - you can take him down the pub and shout him a beer. haha. so if Liv won't agree to send me the nice grey bird she bought back from Perth will you David?? You know us men need to support each other Hey Splat - hope you don't mind me thinking you have an interesting name - it conjures up all sorts of odd images. The clincher for me was being in WA and going to a bird shop and seeing the Grey Spangled Show budgie. I noticed his bent tail immediately, but then Liv ignored him - I realised that if she wasn't going to buy him then I was going to...Fortunately she used her money to buy him - so I got out of it quite cheap.KAZ's place is awesome, and it was in part her setup that encouraged me ;;.(i've juzt put a semi colan and a full stop and spelld just inkorectkly because I know that Liv can't help but editing my posts - she's adorably reliable that way )Welcome David and it so cool that you are in partnership with Liv That trip to Kaz's must of clenched the deal
