We apologise for the recent unexpected downtime that members experienced with the forums today (Sunday). After some general system checks, we found a number of accounts not operating correctly with a single account failing to recognise a particular member’s post content.

 

As a result, we have had to check our system database and ensure all data was up to date and accurate which included synchronising forums and post information, site wide post recounts and statistics recounts.

All systems are back to normal and we thank you all for your patience with this issue and apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.

 

On a better note, we would like to welcome Daz back to our community. He has been reinstated as Site Administrator after some time away from our site. Many of you would know Daz as he has been a long standing member from some time back and has brought copious amounts of very useful information to the site. Welcome back Daz!

I am not worried about any changes to post counts...what has to be done, has to be done :)

 

I would love to welcome Daz back in his "refurbished" admin capacity. I have kept the seat warm Daz, and so glad to have you back where you belong ;)

It's good to have Daz back as site admin.

 

The site maintenance erased all of the "new posts since I last signed in" posts for today, so I had to go through individual forums to find them all, but that's no biggie.

Aargh, except dammit, it's set me back about a month on my post count,got about 100 to catch back up on :)

Sounds good to me :D I am 53 in a few weeks and I certainly dont feel it :rofl: They will need the fire brigade to put out the candles on my cake !!!!!!! :rofl:

Woooohooo!!! Daz!!! I was wondering if you'd be able to get your old nick back... sorry but Daz suits you more than Darryl. :rofl:

 

As for site maintenance.. that is one of those things that I think everyone can understand. Thanks for keeping on top of everything guys it makes this place very enjoyable. :rofl: You guys do a great job.

Welcome Daz I was a having a dizzy fit when you went off line :D thought it was my dump computer :rofl: But everything is homely again BUT i do think i lost some post :D takes me for ever just to get a hundred. :rofl:

What wonderful Christmas Present BBC has just received having Daz come back in full capacity is awesome, welcome back :hap:
