No No. Im not saying it was anyone elses fault (and not from you guys anyways - the people at work were tellin me to put them outside). As you said neat, no one twisted my arm. It just sucks. I should have stuck with my gut.

Update: Woke up for this mormings 7am feed. One had a massive crop. The other had a smaller one. Either way they look like they are being fed.

The hardest bit isnt loosing the boy, its having to deal with my family, and my father that thinks i am still 12 years old.

your feeding the littlest one again? when is number 3 due? wasn't there a bit of a delay between 2 and 3 eggs?? Good luck with them. Hope mum starts picking up the slack..

Hey all. Bad news. Littlest bub died between its 1 o clock feed and its 4 pm feed. I dont know what caused it . It never chirped tho. So who knows.

Jimmy- yes we WERE feeding the littlest one.

Number one is still going. Cross fingers.

So sorry to hear it, the hardest thing about breeding I'd say? Good luck with the other, any sign of dad?

aww. Sorry to hear about the little one... Hope baby 3 hatches and is nice and healthy...

Is the Mum still sitting on the eggs ? The reason I ask is, some silly Mummas get off the eggs when chicks arrive.

I dont know!? I dont have a breeding box camera. But she is always in there. But I also have food in there for her. So she really has no need to move. What happens if she isnt sitting on it? Should I pull the baby out so she will?

you are doing all you can.....whatever will be, will be. Prepare for surprises :)

I thought there was a bit of a gap between when egg 2 was laid and egg 3 was laid wasn't there like a 3 or 4 day gap?? I'd leave them there... hopefully they'll hatch soon...

All very normal ;) What are you using for nesting material ?

There were still shavings left in the nest, and I topped it up with breeders choice kitty litter (recycled newspaper pellets).

So shavings and newspaper lol.
