Can someone please tell which diseases I need to be concerned about which can be transmitted with no physical contact? I am facing having to bring a bird in to be near another bird but in a seperate cage with only minimal quarantine.

 

 

I am trying to ask this question without being species specific but some of you may already realise which bird I am referring too the question is a very relevent one though for budgies :hi:

Things spread by dander. So PBFD, Polyomavirus. Respiratory viruses and bacteria, so Chlamydophila. Cryptococcus. I can't think of all right now. I'm in study mode at the moment and my head is very full of stuff and other stuff is bouncing off of it. Avian influenza viruses etc. (not all avian flus are bad, there are more than one, just like not all human flu viruses are bad)
