Hi everyone :D

I have inherited two birds from my boyfriend. They're moving out of their house and can't keep them so I have adopted them. One of the birds is a blue budgie, but the other I'm not so sure of (it was rescued from a tree after being attacked by magpies). I'll post some pictures in a few weeks after they've settled in.

Looking forward to it!

welcome to the forum! Lots of information here to help you with the budgie. and quite a few people keep other kinds of birds as well so we look forward to seeing pictures of your two new feathered friends!

Hi & Welcome ....

I hope you enjoy your stay

One of the birds is a blue budgie, but the other I'm not so sure of (it was rescued from a tree after being attacked by magpies).

Our first two family budgies when I was a kid were rescues... one from our cat's mouth :mallet: and the other landed next to my mum when she was gardening... he was being chased by noisy miners. We assumed both had escaped from aviaries as neither was particularly tame. But both turned out to be really friendly. Bert (the one that came home with the cat) lasted 11 years with us! We had no idea how old he was when we got him, but his cere was deep blue, so he mustn't have been a baby. Ernie was with us for nine... he wasn't a baby when he arrived either, so both were obviously pretty hardy birds!
