New Aviary

Featured Replies

okay, thanks MB! Now, I just need to sell mine but buy that one at the same time to put my birds in!! Does the box type one come with the bird I see in the photo?

Nope, that's Joey, he's mine :D

According to the bloke it has a little surface rust along the bottom edge so it would need a bit of a clean up and as you can see the lock's a little rusty but otherwise pretty good nick.

I haven't picked mine up yet Neat, went and saw him and had a look at it yesterday, picked Joey(the rosella) up and gave him a deposit. He's going to dismantle it during the week and I'll pick it u next weekend.

He is a LONG way from you down near Frankston... If you were really interested I can check if he's still got it and I could pick it up when I get mine in the next couple of weeks and at least bring it back to my place for you ;).

Bird Paradise Can you please take the Details conversation in to PM please ... Thanks you

Don't want to rain on your parade, I love eastern rosellas too, but you may need a license to keep one. The person selling it to you should have one if they are required in VIC (and it appears so as they don't appear on VIC DSE's list of birds you don't need a license for).

You need a license for all Rosellas except the Western (standard red, or soup rosella).

nice averys! good value too by the sounds of it. i love little joey he is a sweet heart. can rosellas be in the same avery as budgies? xx Elise xx

No Joey lives with my lorikeets, rosellas are too agressive to be in with smaller birds like budgies, they can be very bossy much like lorikeets in temperament. Here are the new aviaries all set up in my yard during the recent hailstorm
