hello all, i thought i would update you all on Bing, well he has come along in leaps and bounds over the past couple of days actually, usually when hes out of the cage he just sits on my shoulder and chats away, but 2 days ago, while i was on the computer, he flew down and started exploring, he went all across the keyboard and bit my hands as i was typing, then jumped on my hand, ran up my arm and sat there and started preening it was quite shocking really watching it all unfold in front of me as it has never happened before well here are some pictures of him today, he is just finishing up his second moult, luckily it wasn't anywhere near as bad as his first

How cute! It's funny the way pets will always try to get int eh way when the computer is taking up all your attention. I have a cat who will sit on you lap at the computer, all innocent and cuddly, then as soon as you stop patting, he'll jump up onto the desk and sit in front of the screen!

 

By the way, don't want to alarm or anything, but is he a she or is it just the photos?!!

I can see a little blue on his cere also. Sometimes, if a bird has a hormone imbalance, they may not show a true colour cere. I have a hen who has a light blue cere I picked her up cheap, and her breeder assures me that she is just out of season. Personally, I doubt that she will breed

Oh well, who knows in the mysterious world of budgies lol
