Posted September 11, 200816 yr Here is a video that was sent to me it may be disturbing for some but it is very descriptive. Though it was 7 years later, I can remember what I was doing when this happen. A simply terrible event, please keep these families in your prayers today. Edited September 12, 200816 yr by KAZ
September 12, 200816 yr I really doesn't seem that long ago. It happened over night for us, of course, and I remember getting up that morning to find my whole family in disbelief huddled around the TV. My Dad had got up during the night and turned his radio on because he couldn't sleep, and heard the reports of the first plane hitting the tower. So he got up and watched the TV all night and all morning, and saw all of what unfolded after that first plane in real time... Most Australians, I think, have only seen the most of it in replay because it happened overnight for us, but Dad says the feeling of disbelief and strange emptiness was so chilling seeing it happen in real time.
September 12, 200816 yr I was leaving for work that morning, I hopped in the uten& turned it on & the news came on.I walked back inside & rang work,to tell them I would not be coming to work that day & never went back to work again. It was the straw that broke the camels back.I had a complete break down. September 12, 200816 yr I was talking to my God Brother on his mobile and he was walking to a meeting in the twin towers when he screams God a Plane just flew into the tower, I thought he was joking but we got cut off. I spent 30 mins trying to contact anyone in my family and just got busy signals so turned on the TV and spent the rest of the night crying on the couch. I know people who lost family members inthe towers and the pentagon it was so strange as if I was watching a Movie. I had to keep reminding myself it was real.
September 12, 200816 yr Author WOW AV, I assume he is okay yes? They had a video they played for the kids yesterday morning for them to remember. My kids were very little but know they are in school they are shocked on why someone would do that. My daughter said that was stupid the pilot killed himself why mommy....I can't imagine being there and having to recover emotionally from it, just knowing it happened and seeing it happen is emotional.
September 12, 200816 yr :rip: ... My sister and I were watching a move. When it finished we had the Tv on and thought it was a movie or something!!! We sat up all night glued to the Tv crying. I couldn't believe it! So sad and so wrong... and very hard to believe it was that long ago!
