Posted September 4, 200816 yr My three baby cockatiels have captured my heart! At only 2 and a half weeks old, and not that good looking just yet, I have become very attached to them already! I have only been handrearing them for 48 hours and I have fallen totally in love with them. I often sit with them and just watch them while they all huddle together in their toasty warm brooder. I peek in and they are just so cute! My son wants to keep one (he wont touch them till they grow some feathers as they freak him out just now!) my partners granddaughter wants one and a friend is taking one. So they have homes already! At least I'll still have one to keep, Matthew,my son, promises he will look after it, just like he did with the rabbits, the goldfish, the chooks, the kitten, etc etc etc. I'm sure some of you have been there, and done that. After a week you are the one stuck looking after them. Edited September 4, 200816 yr by jenene283

But hopefully they'll stop soon once they realise I'm not going to hurt them. I just hope they grow some feathers real soon!
