Just Wondering Can You Get A ....

I know there are some strange combinations out there, and mutations that are different.

We know that people are breeding black budgies or anthracites overseas. I have previously asked about Yellow face type 2 grey budgies, wondering what they look like.

Here is my latest puzzling thought - can you get a Yellow faced Double factor spangle in the blue series? And if you could, would it simply be white, or creamino - ish?????

If you have ever seen one, or you have one, please provide a picture!!!

YES....the show breeder I buy my birds from has one. I will ask for a picture for you

I have two yf2 df spangles... They look like cremino's with black eyes and can get suffision.

I recently sold one also to a member on here called aaron, check his profile to see pics of his little guy.

Coooool .. Thanks for sharing :hap:

Yep you definitely can. My Saffy was a Yf2 DF spangle of the blue series. (she is so yellow though that I thought she was in the yellow series, but she never had green babies, only yellowface babies (she was mated with a normal skyblue male))

She is in my signature and here are some more pictures of her. (She is not a show budgie)

I can't see Timbo's picture ;)

Yeah Saffy is a really bad example of a yellowface 2, as her yellow is so rich.

If you have a YF DF spangle it is Shown in the YF class not the spangle ..

We had a meeting the other night and a judge came I asked him what it is shown in as there was a

Yellow Face Double Factor Spangle there ( looks like other said) a cremino with black eyes

Yep I have a nest of nine. The parents are dad a yellow face sky blue spangle and mum a cobalt spangle and they had nine eggs and everyone hatched and so far I have 2 yellow face white double factor spangles, both with a pale lemon suffion all other and bright yellow faces. There is one sky blue spangle with yellow through wings which is a very pretty colour, one grey spangle with just a tiny bit of lemon through wings an the others I can't tell let.

The problem of putting yellow face with spangle is that the yellow bleeds through the wings and then you really can't show them.

Hi Dave this is my young Yellow face DF Spangle there are 2 in the nest and both are cinnamon she is 4 weeks old.
