Posted August 25, 200816 yr Just some various photos taken yesterday. Budgies got some hibiscus and got down to the business of chewing it all up Some things are so good to eat, its worth turning your head completely around for :hap: That last photo of the cinnamon spangle hen ...she was the little hen that had been plucked by her mother as a baby and had to be raised in a foster nest. This is her before and here is MOJO all grown up and as a baby. His foster sister pulled out all his wing flights on one wing and chewed his wingtip. He hasnt grown them back and some spiky beastie in the aviary
August 25, 200816 yr they look like they had a blast mostly the hen I bet, letting there anger loose. and he's a really spikey birdie ive never seen a budgie so spikey
August 25, 200816 yr Great photos Kaz! Everyone is looking great!! Thank for the update on your poor plucked baby - I am so pleased all her feathers grew back okay
August 25, 200816 yr Dont the aviaries look fabulous when you've thrown in some green and the birds so love it. Your little plucked spangle is an absolute angel
August 25, 200816 yr Hi Kaz your birds do just love the hibiscus, pitty about MOJO not re-growing his flight feathers other than that he looked to me to be of a good show type although I only just learning so I may be completely wrong. I know my description says "show breeder" but I am actually only just starting with breeding with showing in the back of my mind. I think because when I first joined the forum I had just joined my Budgie Club and am intending to show my birds once I produce birds worth showing. Still have so much to learn. It's a pity you could only have a yes or no answer unwise mine would have be Show breeder "in progress".
