You should see all the birds in the baby cage Kaz. Its entertaining watching them run around on the floor foraging for seeds.

With that other baby I have decided to keep it for a little while and see if it works out. Their is a possibility it could be vitamin deficient or somthing so Im going to try get a hold of some vitamin soluble powder.

Today I put a plastic ladder in the baby cage for the babies who cannot fly yet to climb up to get to the perches. One of the babies was climbing it and another baby up top picked up the ladder with his beak and moved it. The baby climbing fell off.

I stopped breeding for about 3 weeks, re did the aviary and breeding room. Put a screen door on the aviary as suggested by a forum member.

I have decided to only breed 3 pairs of budgies at a time.

- Less stress on me

- Less expense

- Less problems

- You still get the same feeling of enjoyment, no matter how many birds you have breeding.

So I have 3 pairs at the moment 1 pair has 2 babies

It was an excellent game.

I was washing the car today and abut 10 wasps came flying out under the bonet. I was stung a fair few times and I started getting a big rash and puffing up so I ended up going to the doctors. With many wasp stings it is common to get the symptoms I had. I learnt something new today.

LOL! i used to squirt wasps nests with my water gun when i was a young fella, never got stung though

You learnt to get someone else to wash the car, while you watch the rugby

A BIG Congratulations too, Pearce on the arrival of your first red eyed chick in the TCB nest. Your little lutino baby
