The other's dident let me take good pictures of them, Bailey a momma's boy though.

That's good they are eating it :D . I feed carrot, corn, green peas, celery, spinach, parsley, apple, ... I think banana is okay. I've tried red currant (it grows next to the aviary), but they don't eat it. Today I gave them a little bit of grapes (I've taken the seeds out)

:D

By the way nice pictures :D

You can if you really want, but I feed them what I eat... just normal food. Just be sure to wash it really well.

Great news!!! budgies love their veggies really, they just don't know it until they try it :D

Hope they tuck into the other veggies you are going to try. Mine love carrot, corn on the cob, peas, beans, broccoli, spinach, snow peas - they also eat what we eat.... non organic.

what do I do about pesticides?

typo pesticides

what do I do about pesticides?

Pesticides form a residue on the surface and i am pretty sure they do not actually penetrate the plant, so just wash, peel and take off any outer leaves from all fruit and vegetables, the same as you would to eat them yourself.

oh yeah I never thought of that, me a dum dum

Thanks Liv

Wash all veggies, Only give strawberries if you have grown them as the pesticides are soaked in to the berries and usually ca't get washed out of them

You can even give them your grass too NOT MOWED THOUGH, I go and pull the grass out before dave wippersnips, they love that too :D

Organic, is expensive if you ask me, and 8 times out of 10 they are ORGANIC! -

A few days ago I picked some grass from the garden and washed it and put it in there bath but they dident touch it

Mine love grass. I pick it in the early morning and give it to them roots, dirt and ALL :D - just make sure you are vigilant with worming if you give soil though - THEY LOOOOOOVE SOIL!!

YAY! I try to make my bunch eat different stuff, but they're more interested in throwing it around the room than eating it!
