th_budgies008.jpgshe is twice the size of th_budgies005.jpg and he is the only bird i have that is anywhere near her size that hasn't already paired up. will that affect them in breeding?

th_budgies006-1.jpg i think he is the cutest little boy

and

th_budgies005-1.jpg she is the cutest little girl. ( whats "cinny") or at least i think it's a girl

th_budgies004-1.jpg you said this hen is an albino. she looks like she has been egg bound at some stage. Should the swelling have gone down? and will that affect her if i try to breed with her?

Runners?

Are they a variety or is it a disease?

okay now i was told the blue pied was a runner, but he can sort of fly and he doesn't look that old, or he can fly better than the yellow ones. Is there anyway to tell at the moment if they're runners or if they're just growing their feathers through, because i think they're only young, cause they still have that baby face look.

Albino and Grey Didn't notice until now, they have awide stance, in that photo, are they always like that or were they trying to get away from the camera :hap: .. Sorry cinny is Cinnomon (i can never spell it lol)

Violet to the Sky :hap: awesome!!!!

Albino - Has it red eyes, I am going by the photo of what I can se :hap:

Being eggbound - Was she eggbound or you think she is / was That is a serious issue

Runners are birds that can't fly due to French Molt - Where the flight and tail (and primary sometime) do not grow properly it is said to be a disease from the nest ...

yellow is a FM french molt bird the blue pied looks like a bub still

no they're not always like that. it was just the way the male landed on the perch. When he landed he nearly knocked the female off. She wasn't happy.

All my white ones have red eyes. Same as my yellow ones. are they're any other colors that have red eyes?

I think she WAS egg bound, before i got her and i didn't realise till i got her home. i had a chook once that was egg bound, and she would croutch down and try to push it out, but this bird is just flying around like normal, but she has that lump and the base which makes me think she was. The big problem i have is with the eggbound and runners i bought them from a reputable pet man and he didn't tell me :hap:

Which yellow one? the yellow yellow or the green yellow. ( the one on the floor or the one on the perch)?

Are bugies meant to have blue eyes or brown eyes? Because i have both?

French moult is caused by a virus, it effects birds while they are young in the nest & then soon after they leave the nest the flight feathers fall out when they try to use them as they are weakened by the disease. Most in my experience will quickly grow back their feathers & can fly, but some never do & then never can fly properly. You can only wait & see. Once they recover in my experience they are just like normal birds & then are immune. It's not a good thing to buy birds that have it, as now you will have introduced it to your birds. Once you have it I think you have to basically live with it, it's nuisance but most birds get over it. Some people use sprays to try to control it but I'm not sure if it works. It's very common in Budgies.

White birds with Red eyes are called Albion, as others have told you…Yellow ones are Lutino. Some other Mutations have Red eyes Fallows, some have reddish eyes when real young in the nest, Cinnamons but then it darkens. Recessive Pieds have Plum coloured eyes.

If your bird really had been Egg bound it would have died by now, if it didn't pass it's egg.. But some birds get problems with their oviduct & once this has happened they probably wont be any good for breeding again. But also some build up fatty tissue, once again these may not breed.
