I know that they are not as pretty as some other colours but i have fallen in love with the greys, my husband thinks i am mental but says it with a smile and a small shake of his head.

they are lovely, I love greys too one of my personal favorites, just adding to ensure you do 30 day quarantine you may know this already but I always tell people just in case they don't a lot of people don't :D.

Thanks for that Elly and yep they are quarantined, i never did this before but i guess if i am going to get serious then i will follow the advice i get from people in the know. They have their own cage but is it okay to have them in the same room as other birds?

I would keep them in separate room that is much better if you can't then have the side covered that is facing the other birds there are airborne disease as well.

Yeah seperate rooms if you can, I did a post on my guys (it's called "I Quit") they tells you the dangers of needing to Quarantine and also the fact that you can spread to between your new guys and your old guys as I did that. :D

Oh they are lovely :D I love the grey and the green!!! Where did you get them????

Thanks for the tip, i had been there but the guy said that none of the birds he had were any good so he would call me when the next lot came in, but now you have said that I wont go again

Last time i went there (in April) , there were dead birds in the aviaries and cages, lots of sick and dieing ones too. the water was GREEN AND STINKING in all cages and there was no food left!!!! I was so upset and horrified by what i saw, i complained to the staff who were sitting (and laughing while) having coffee in the back room. Their excuse for the putrid conditions was they were closed the previous day!!! water does not turn green a foul smelling ever night!!!! I am still furious about it!!!!!! It makes me feel sick just thinking about it!

very lovely birds and I'm joining the crazy club cause Grey's are my favorite!
