July 8, 200817 yr My ten yr old bunny has been doing that LAOT lately, each time I'm scare poopless! because I know that is the position EVERy single one of my bunnies has ever died in I'm expecting him to go soon as his back legs are starting to go and he's having toruble eating, but not yet !!!!
July 8, 200817 yr Libby, have you checked his teeth? (mainly his back teeth, you'll have to stick a pinky in there (risky) or get a vet to have a look with an otoscope) He could have malocclusion or overgrown molars making it harder for him to chew. This can be fixed. Edited July 8, 200817 yr by Sailorwolf
July 8, 200817 yr Yep teeth are all fine. After going through a face abcess with my old bunny Coco i know to look for teeth going wrong. He's just old and struggles now days, all vets have given him the all clear, but i think his time is coming
