het tails feathers were pulled out my Kolorado ( aka Mac) so he is home with me :D

MMMMMMmmmm :D There's a fair bit of blue showing there. Much like a cock not quite in condition or young.

going with Kaz, Merlin's cere went through that stage looks like a cock.

Hmm, tough to tell from the picks but I'm going with a cock bird also. The head is pretty rounded, normally the hen's head will appear more 'boxy', especially when they are relaxed like that. I think by 3 months the cere would be lighter at the base if it were a hen, just my guess.

Boy for me. I think there's a touch of "purpley blue" and no "milky blue". I've noticed though that it's difficult to judge colour from photos as the white balance, saturation and hue of the pics often causes birds to look completely different. ie Sky Blues looking like Cobalts and vice versa.

Nar no purple only blue and white / off white / starko / mother of pearl ( lol picture your shade of white).

 

 

 

Ah well - I had a gut feeling since the other one was a male that this was going to be a male too but I must have stuffed up with the colours of the cere ! Still has a Bitey nature -
