July 7, 200817 yr Author She saw the kids and immediately it was like "OOOOhhhh, this is someone I'm meant to play with and love!" She followed Alex around like a little shadow until you arived last night and also this morning.
July 7, 200817 yr Author My other dog is a bit like "Muuummmm, she's following me, tell her to leave me alone!!!" But I'm sure she will get useed to her. The rabbit raced up to say hello and even played with her so I think they will be fine.

July 7, 200817 yr Author She is a kelpie and only four so she is still very playful but when the pup gets in her face she just kinda rolls her eyes and walks away I am sure that within a week they will be tearig around together, they did have a game of ball together yesterday arvo until Josie got tired and needed a puppy nap.

July 7, 200817 yr Our new puppy arrives on Sunday. She will be eight weekxs old. I have attached a photo of some of the pups taken a couple of weeks ago, ours will be like the one on the far rright and the one second from the left. For those who aren't aware they are Basset Hounds AWWWWWW they are just beautiful! :hap:
July 7, 200817 yr OH MY ! White spot on nose. Floppy ears, droppy eyes, a little wobbly when walks. AND SHE CHEWS POOH ! Great toy for her to chew on. She is cute ! I will be over to steal her later.

July 8, 200817 yr Author She is only allowed in the family room under supervision now. I had planned to leave her in there with Sascha when I have to go to work but now she has to stay in the laundry until she can be trusted Luckily I saw her do it so I stopped her before she did any damage, plus it's the 'kid couch' (ie. the one we have when the kids are little and put food on everything and get rid of in a couple of years after they are a bit older) so while I would still be cranky if something happened to it as it's still in good nick it's not a nice leather lounge or anything like that.
July 8, 200817 yr Haha, don't you love how puppies eat anything and I mean anything. Ours tried to eat the carpet!!!! And then they discovered the latest TV guide and destroyed it, leaving the old one perfectly untouched. We once had a newfoundland puppy that was locked in the bathroom (for being naughty or it was puppy room can't remember) and he ate his way through the wall, because it didn't like being locked away!
