July 3, 200817 yr Lucky lucky you!! I just ADORE Bassets!! their face are full of character!! Have you got a name for her yet? Please show more pics of her when you get her!!
July 3, 200817 yr Author No name yet as she is a gift for my other half and he doesn't actually realise he is getting her yet so he will have naming rights when she arrives. It's a covert operation on Sunday to go pick her up. I think he likes the name Peppa so he may call her that. I PROMISE more photos

July 4, 200817 yr Seeing as your other half was a bit slack in ordering his suit for the wedding I would make him suffer! (Dont know how but I'm sure you could think of something!!) The puppies are absolutely gorgeous by the way, I want one!! Edited July 4, 200817 yr by jenene283

July 5, 200817 yr I will sneak over & snatch her from you & get me some of that frozen mud cake from the freezer. No need to worry & lock the door tight ... I can get past any security system you have. These dogs look so bored & sad & sleepy. I love them. Good watch dogs. They will watch who ever robs your house & yawn while doing just that. They are really smart that way ! Edited July 5, 200817 yr by NickNack
July 5, 200817 yr Author That's okay, this one can be the watch dog, our other one would probably HELP someone rob the house
July 5, 200817 yr these dogs look so bored & sad & sleepy.[/font] They look more like stoned if you ask me... I never really liked dogs with eyes like that. I prefer when they have big cheery eyes.
July 5, 200817 yr Author They don't look quite as droopy when they grow up, they have to grow into their skin
July 5, 200817 yr Author She will only be a baby so we will have plenty of time to train her with him before she gets big.
July 5, 200817 yr That's okay, this one can be the watch dog, our other one would probably HELP someone rob the house I could just see that, "here take that one and that one and i don't like that one, but don't touch the bunny! I will hold the door open for you on the way out."
July 6, 200817 yr Author She's home! I promise photos tonight, the covert operation is still comtinueing as the man is out with the kids so he won't get her for another couple of hours.
July 6, 200817 yr Author He just got her then! I took her with me to go to the shops since I didn't want to leave her on her own and they were home by the time I got back BUT the kids were having a sleep so he decided to have a snooze too. So I snuck in and put her on the bed next to him and he slowly opened his eyes and then the BIGGEST grin you have ever seen spread across his face, it was priceless! :bluebudgie: He has called her Josie (Josephine)
