Posted June 25, 200817 yr Well I know you all thought the day would never come but alas... this friday is D-Day... I know I know, you wanna see pictures... when I bring them home I will take photo's... I managed to catch up with an old work colleague that I knew bred show budgies a few years back. Well he's out of the breeding game at the moment but he passed me onto a friend from his Club that has some.... wait for it.... LACEWINGS!!!! I know I know! I am a legend. haha. Well I really like lacewings so I'll be happy to get one finally. Friday can't come quick enough now...

All that caution they must be stunners…LOL…I’m having trouble my one & only Lacewing hasn’t bred yet [i tried her] her father hasn’t produced any more, despite my trying & one cock I bought seems too old he hasn’t filled an eggs so far. I love them too but am very frustrated trying to get some more…missed out on one at a show sale. Are you only specialising in Lacewings or is there room for any other “common Budgies” in your aviary???…My favourite is the Yellow [Green series] do you have a druthers…or are you happy with Whites? Both mine are Whites.

July 4, 200817 yr Like you say it's probably being spoilt rotten & he can't take his eyes of it long enough to go on line & send us any pictures. Or maybe it’s one of those things where he was so excited to get a Lacewing, but now he actually has one it’s just like wanting to climb a certain mountain, once he reached the top, achieved his mission, he has totally lost interest… Edited July 4, 200817 yr by Norm
