Hi, Lazy_budgie And I Are New

Hi,

My name is Sonny, im in Nsw. Mum to 2 and now a budgie named Lazy.

While i havent got much bird/budgie history - this is my 3rd bird.

We had 2 budgies and they ate through the pegs holding their cage door shut and flew away.

I had a cockateil which died 3 weeks after i bought it from the petstore (i had complained that it was lethargic from day one and only got a small amount refund back )

Now my daughter begged and whinned for either a bird or a fish - and hubby thought it would be "easier" to look after a bird while im pregnant ....lol.

anyways, cant wait to get to know you all, and Lazy and tame it a little....

(they said it was a boy but im having difficulty believing it - its constantly sitting in its food dish...hmmm egggs????)

Welcome :D

Happy to have you here

Sitting in the food dish is a baby budgie habit. Is yours a baby ?

Hello and welcome

I am also a mum of two and budgies make much better pets for kids than fish ;)

If you can post a picture we will be able to tell you gender and approximate age. I agree with Kaz that Lazy sounds like a young baby, which is great for taming :D

I look forward to getting to know you and hearing all about Lazy.
