Introducing Agamemnon

Hiya!

I'm new here. My boyfriend has a boy budgie he has hand raised from a baby ;) He's a very noisy little fellow, always happily tweeting, and is very curious. Aggie likes to sing along to the Neighbours theme song in particular. Aggie has lots of toys, but his cage door is nearly always open so he likes to clamber out and flap around the room. Aggie especially likes his bell and to knock it back and forth. We can kiss him and give him lots of pats- he takes it all. Aggie likes to sit on people's shoulders, nibble hair and go up to our lips and make kissing noises. He loves to investigate what we are eating, and especially likes to attempt to steal our seafood and coffee. Funnily enough, he's fussy with his seed and only likes his millet. Everybody in the family loves Aggie :P

Hi and welcome to the forum. Aggie is a very handsome boy. I can't wait to get to know you both more. Can I ask where "Agamemnon" comes from?

Almost got him right. He is a Double Factor skyblue dominant pied. Very cute and he seems to be a great character and obviously loved by you.

Welcome

Agamemnon is a greek hero am I right. Not entirely sure what he did or when he was, some classical time

Skyblue DF dom pied spangle I'd say, i have a boy almost identical to him! even has the half cere colour

Welcome to the forums :)

It's something to do with the movie troy, i remember the name being thrown around somewhere in that movie amongst the hot actors ;)

My bf chose the name Aggamenon from the start. Appareantly Aggie's full name is "Aggamenon, the mighty Greek warrior" ;) He chose the name and wouldn't consider another. My bf likes to announce this before he gives Aggie a kiss on the chest, and then tosses him into the air for some exercise.

I think he may have gotten the name from age of mythology- a PC game. I sometimes drop hints I think we should get Aggie a Helen :P

what a doll, I do hope you entered a picture of him in the July Budgie Contest, it is located under Competitions and called July Budgie of the Month.

That's hilarious I've just been replaying that game and was playing it the night I first read this post. Hilarious. It was my study procrastinator.

He is a very handsome budgie and certainly can shake his tail feather!

Hi and welcome!

What a cutie! Love the video, such a little character :budgiedance:
