That newest "grey" girl you have looks like a mauve to me. :)

Yeah I think she is a Mauve, the breeder says that if I put her with harley who is a pale Blue then i might get violets. I don't know but she is really cute.

Hey AV I love your new sig!

Thanks my bf did it for me. Oh and Cloud put him in the patio avairy and he flys around and dunks his head in the water which is why he has a flat top in that picture!

So I did post on this. okay

Yes Yes you did.

Anyway aviary update I am thinking of painting it cause it looks very silver and industrail so I was thinking a soft green with cream edge. I also want to change the waire over but not sure what type of wire I want going to have to look around for that. I figure when I get the slab put down then I will have to move the birds out and while they are out I would paint and change the wire. Should I paint the inside of it?? If so what color do you think and also what type of paint should I use or what type should I steer clear of?

I doubt it is still there... this post was from JUNE 14th! :D

Looks great, well as for the pot and a shrub, i would use bottle brush as they love it. But they will strip it in no time, so I would just have branches in the cage for them and just get some bottle brush branches and give them as a treat.

Cute pics :) your aviary looks awesome!!!

I hope this ino one is okay - it looks to be fluffed, sleepy and leaning to one side. :)

Liv, that ino is fine he is just really really blind! I am trying to find him another home but at the moment he seems happy enough in the avairy. They are all a little fluffy cause about 10 mins before photos they where moved in so a little annoyed at me. Also Angel the ino always leans to one side the vet thinks it may be because he can hear better from one side so he tries to keep that side up.

How did you become aware that the ino was blind? Did he keep flying into things?

No it was more that he just sat on his food, showed no intrest in the hens and unless I touched him would not fly away from me. then MB had a look at this eyes and they are all cloudy.

That's really interesting - i have never thought of blindness in budgies. I hope you find him a good home :D

I have found him two homes and have turned them down. he needs a home with nothing like cats as the smell or sounds of them would not do him any good, also a loud house will not work. i am trying to find an older person who has no other pets and would like him as someone to talk to I think in that type of environment then he will do well and once he got to know his area then he would be right. I know if I move him cages I put him near or on the food source this way he can find it. I also have seen him move along the cage to find the water and then move back to the food.

Looks great. I think you should name that bird like Storm of somthing maybe cloud!
