Another Budgie On Ebay

Featured Replies

I was just browsing on Ebay and typed in "budgie" and there on pg 2 right at the bottom (I dont know how to post link) is a poor little budgie in a cage for sale. It looks really young, poor little thing. :) It says it was a Christmas present and the novelty has worn off. What is it with these people? I'm going to send the seller a polite message......

That's horrible!!!

(How to post a link: When you are searching the internet, you just click on the address- top bit where you type in www. etc.... Click on it to highlight, then right click and copy (ctrl c). Then when writing a post, click on the button with the green shape and grenn plus sign (next to smilies). Then paste your link (ctrl v) and press okay. This will bring up another line where you type in what you want to call the link eg. 'budgie on ebay'. then press okay again and it will be in your post. From here I usually make it a different colour so it stands out...)

Good Kaz! I tried to report them but when I hit the "send" button nothing happened, doesnt matter, you did it for me!

There's two seperate lots of people trying to sell budgies right now on ebay !!

 don't people read the rules!!!

I reported that one before hehe. I find i report budgies for sale every week or so - People just dont get it :D

Thanks Maesie, now I know

No worries! :D Pretty easy once you've done it a few times.

Most of the time these people don't even realise they aren't allowed to post the animal. I have offered the budgie in Melbourne a home at my place and then the bloke will be able to sell his cage minus the budgie so well see what he says.

although, I have to say i get heart broken when i see those, "As New, Only a few months old" Empty cages of budgies who suffered worse outcomes than being sold on ebay :D

I know a lot of folks that love buying used cages. It costs less and you can find great stuff that way for your birds. And it doesn't mean that the bird that was inside was mistreated. Or maybe they even upgraded.
