I have been waiting so long for my favourite pair to start breeding, I had almost given up and just now after getting home from work, I checked their breeding cabinet and noticed the hen was nowhere to be seen. I opened the nest box and there's a brand new shiny white egg!!!! What a great Mother's Day present from them!! They've made a perfect day even better!!

I too have a pair im sweating on to start laying , but I hope its not going to be fathers day when it happens .

Congrats and good luck

Happy mothers day!!

HEYYYYYYYYYYY

Congrats on the Egg, Here's hoping for plenty of fertile eggs

I have had hens whos cere has never been brown and yet they are great breeders. In fact I have on who is 3 years old that I purchased 6 months back who has a white cere and she is going great. (I will retire her after her next clutch)

:D Yah for egg 2!!! I'm hoping for egg 2 tomorrow as well, so we might be going egg for egg! :)

Sadly my hen wont be laying anymore eggs for a while Maesie. She was quite sick today and had her in a hospital cage all day. I have put her eggs under another hen so hopefully they are fertile! She has improved tonight so fingers crossed she continues to improve.

At least you'll get an idea when they hatch of her next clutch will look like when she is better .....

Oh yeah... same hen that was egg bound. So sorry! My bad. I hope the eggs still hatch and hope your favorite hen keeps on getting better and returns to her normal self. :D
