Posted May 4, 200817 yr Is it normal for a male and female budgie to bicker and is there such thing as a peaking order for budgies?
May 4, 200817 yr Yes to both All animals bicker even humans as I'm sure we've all noticed About the pecking order, you will notice that one bird gets first access to food and such and in a pair this is usually the female who is the top bird

May 4, 200817 yr It doesn't matter what the pecking order is as long as they are not constantly fighting and hurting each other. The boy will probably be boss for now, but it may change later
May 4, 200817 yr if they are bickering a lot I would suggest having 2 feed bowls and water bowls, though it is normal to have a moderate amount if you are having it every moment then something needs to be changed like the cage set-up, how big it is etc... Do you have a picture of your cage you can post here?
