April 25, 200817 yr Author Thanks Libby and Elly for clearing that up. I wasn't sure from the start whether it was a he or she. I've changed the name to Henrietta. The strange thing is that she doesn't bite and is singing which is more common for males. I guess I'm lucky to have such a lovely hen. hehe Libby, I was going to mention that too hehe....OMG I really love the ones with her head on the pillow it looks like she is going to take a nap...May Budgie of the Month Submission
April 25, 200817 yr Seems to be a HEN and YOUNGER than 11 weeks for certain. 5-6 weeks is my guesstimate. Check its feet and see if it sits well on its feet and not the sides of them. Wings are dropped, and yes...there seems something not quite right. Will wait for further reports and photos Where's my prize for guessing Henry was a Henrietta ?
April 25, 200817 yr See what happens when you become co Administrator Kaz people forget about you... greatness is expected of you... Cute photo's of HENrietta I like the one where she's laying her head down too..
April 25, 200817 yr Those pics are too amazing Vickykh, Henrietta wanted to lay her noggin down like you do ! She certainly is a happy playful bird. More pics MORE !!!!!
April 25, 200817 yr They are great photos and Henry is so cute. It is great you have a hen that is very friendly and goes not bite.
April 25, 200817 yr Author Thank you Kaz, your knowledge and advice is always appreciated. That's fantastic you picked up that it was a she first thing. When I originally asked if its a he or she I was getting both from members and deep down I was hoping for a boy but now I dont mind because she is such a cutie. Edited April 25, 200817 yr by Vickykh
