Posted April 22, 200817 yr I just had to show some photos of Tweety and Runt being friendly with my son. The last couple of nights when we let them out they are more interested in sitting on our shoulders than playing.I wondered if it is the cooler weather that makes them this way.
April 22, 200817 yr very adorable and a wonderful testomonial to those who ask if I have 2 birds can they be tamed :hap:
April 22, 200817 yr very cute pics. your birds look great. I wouldn't be worried about them not wanting to play... they seem pretty content just hanging out with your son.
April 22, 200817 yr Deb, I forget which one is which, but if people look at her yellow faced blue, note where the colour stops. It is almost like a pied line, with the top half being green from the yellow wash out, and the bottom half being blue. Deb has another one in the aviary with the same thing. It is like the bird was becoming fully, green due to the yellow faced 2, but then just stopped. Very strange. Almost like a horizontal half sider.

Tweety is my yellowface type 2 and Runt is the blue spangle.Until you mentioned the yellow colouring when you saw them i had not really thought much about it but i have looked a pics of other YF2s and Tweety and Slyvester[his sister in the aviary] do have strange markings.
April 22, 200817 yr Do you have any close up shots showing his stomach from the front? Shots of Sylvester as well? Interesting to get some ideas from others on here.
April 22, 200817 yr Author dont have any closeup photos at the moment,Dave. i will try and get some but i will wait till the sun decides to show itself because the flash on my camera changes the colours of the birds.
