Posted April 16, 200817 yr My new babies arrived safe and sound yesterday and they are so cute. i want to say a big Thank You to Dave and post some pics to show they survived there first night and are very happy. They are not stressed at all by the move, they are eating and very chatting and active. The 2 pied males i called Laurel and Hardy and the 2 female cinnamon wings i have called Laverne and Shirley.
April 16, 200817 yr Three of them are lovely The YF cinnamon hen looks out of place, so you had better send her to me
April 16, 200817 yr Nice to see they arrived safely & are happy in their new situation…a big thankyou to Dave for his kindness in helping you out.
April 16, 200817 yr They look delightful so good of Dave to "share his family" and this way, we get to see them grow up
April 17, 200817 yr Deb, They look great. Like I said, it was great to meet you and your family. Feel like your younger daughter really wanted me to play dominoes. LOL. There is a slight difference inthe depth or darkness of the blues on Laurel and Hardy's stomachs. The light blue with the least black patches is the oldest. The opaline girl is younger than the non-opaline as well. Not sure if i told you that. I am very pleased they have settled in well and have found a loving home.
April 17, 200817 yr HOW COME WE DON'T GOT THESE PRETTY BIRDS IN CANADA ? HUH ? It's not fair........ "SIGH" "SNIFF" !
April 17, 200817 yr Lovely budgies, great names!! We DO have great birds in Canada as well NickNack, come and visit me!!! :ygbudgie:
April 17, 200817 yr Lovely budgies, great names!! We DO have great birds in Canada as well NickNack, come and visit me!!! :ygbudgie: You're too far away Phoebe. Birds don't like 4 or 5 day road trips in the car with me blasting air conditioning or Metallica on the Stereo too loud. And planes make you stick the birds under the seat. The birds either die of fright or freeze from the cold air from the plane flying so high. It's too far to come to steal buy some lovely birds from you & then lose them on the way home. "SIGH" "SNIFF" "SOB" UPS or Purolator wouldn't be any good either.
