Doesnt your bottle have directions and quantities on it ?

 

I cannot be sure my calcivet is the same percentage so I cannot advise as mine is made up by our club.

No i got some off neat in a jar and i wrote down the directions but i have lost them somewhere

If it's Calcivite from Vetafarm

 

Directions:

Mix 20mL in each litre of drinking water or pour 5mL over a cup of soaked seed. Individual bird dose is 0.2mL per 100g body weight.

Yes you can give too much. I don't know what the dosage rate is but it is possible. Hypercalcaemia can lead to all sorts of problems
