Built A Climbing Perch

Featured Replies

Today my husband built a wooden climbing perch for Tweety and Runt and hopefully they will leave the furniture alone. i still have to get some more toys for it and i am thinking some ropes as well. They checked it out tonight but did not stay on it long, i suppose it will take them a while to get used to it.i think it turned out pretty good.

Really good Deb :yellowhead: and maybe you can put some fresh branches with leaves on each day or so :yellowhead: bottlebrush, hibiscus, peppermint, gumleaves etc

That looks fantastic Deb. Good stuff. You could try pegging some Millet to it to get them to stay on it for a bit longer and associate treats with staying on there... or you could add some sort of tray/platter up high where you could offer fresh veggies or their favorite food. I'm sure they'll end up loving it and leave your furnature alone!!!

That looks so cool! I really like it. With natural branches like that it really gives a great look to the thingie. :hap:

Give 'em time and I bet they'll LOVE it.

very nice :hap: you can even hand food that they like to eat from it and other things as Kaz suggested :hap:
