April 1, 200817 yr I do find it interesting that more information comes out about budgies from overseas,or so it seems, when budgies are native to Australia. Bit of a shame really.

I agree Jimmy the only one i could find was BirdKeepers .... I went to 4 book stores 4 pet shops and wholesalers with NOTHING!!!!! only to purchase books of the net ......
April 2, 200817 yr Author Thanks for that. I was aware of Budgerigar World but wasn't sure about an Aussie Publication. I think there used to be one years ago but it must have fallen away.

April 2, 200817 yr If you are a member of your state budgie society,You will get there mag, Not all the states actually have there own mag, They may have a flyer.

Oh wiat I see an oportunity... how about we have a State of Origin competition... and in the interest of fairness we will allow the international people to judge... Everyone sends in a picture of there budgie and that list is passed onto the international people... they decide and post a picture of the 1st 2nd and 3rd placed budgies... I know this is a great idea and one of the Mods will pick it up and run with it Only thing is we would have to find a way for the pics to be posted annonimously... in the interest of fairness of course...
