Bathing Time!

Sherbet and Fizzy have finally been able to enjoy a bath :)

I had bought for them months ago one that could be attached to the side of the cage, but it didn't quite fit so l placed it inside the cage, but they didn't take nay interest.

When l feed them veggies l put them into a stainless steel bowl thats attached to the side of the cage. One day my dad filled it up with water and Fizzy took quite a liking to sitting in the water! He couldn't really splash around because it was a really small, he couldn't even get his little head in!

So l went on a hunt for a larger bowl, l knew where to find one, it was just a matter of making time to get out there. I finally did and l found a rather large bowl, and a sales assistant (who is the manager in the Bird room at Kellyville Pet store - l have spoken to him before on occassion) he showed me a plastic one that attached to the outside of the cage, l told him about the previous one l bought and he said it will fit any cage, but incase he is wrong, he said bring it back and he'll give a full refund, he also gave me 10% off the purchase price for talking to him about it.

I took them both home and l put in the stainless steel one in first, thinking that they might like that one better because its just a bigger version of the one they currently have. They looked at it, tried to get in it but it didn't really work out.

I tried the plastic one that attached to the outside of the cage, which has like a clear dome covering.

They LOVED it to pieces!! Afterwards Sherbet looked like a drowned rat :)

No pictures unfortunately, but hopefully next time :)

Missy,

that is fantastic. it is so nice watching them have fun in the water.

Feathers.

That is one of my favorite activities with Merlin is watching him bath...I splash my fingers in the water and he gets all ruffled up and dives right in.
