Posted March 27, 200817 yr I am SUCH a bad mummy! It's been about a month since poor, neglected Kazumi has had a bath, so there was only one thing to do... Fill a suitable container with warm water and stand back! Bums... oop's I mean Bomb's away... Temperature check Woo Hoo! Wiggle, waggle.. Splish Splash.... I was takin' a bath Time for a top up What do you mean I'm messy?!! I can't see any mess! Ahhh, there's nothing quite like a good bath. Feathers.
March 27, 200817 yr That is so cute - has he always been keen for a bath, or did it take him a while to get in the first time?
March 27, 200817 yr Author Hi Tam, the very first time I gave him a bath it took him a little while to really get going, but since then he just jumps straight in. He LOVES water. I often see him trying to squeeze into his water dish. He is a bit unusual in just how drenched he likes to get though. Feathers.

March 28, 200817 yr That is sooo adorable Feathers! Too cute for words. Love your commentary too. He looks like he's loving his little swim in the pool! Makes me want to splash my birds too!
March 28, 200817 yr :ygbudgie: Very cute, only the lovebirds and one of the budgies will happily bathe, I have to spray the rest of them.
March 28, 200817 yr hahaha I love these photos, mine never like baths much so it's cute to see yours enjoying it so much. Adorable!
March 29, 200817 yr Author Funny, isn't it?? Some of them LOVE water and some try their best to avoid it. Even in boiling hot weather spraying the aviary birds, some LOVE to get totally drenched and some fly off. I must admit though, I do really enjoy giving Kazumi a bath. I just put it down and stand back. Kazumi was playing about for 20 minutes and the water was just pouring off the table. He seems to have a thing about really wanting to get the feathers on his back saturated too. That is why I topped up to the water, not expecting him to get under the stream from the bottle Too funny. Feathers.
March 29, 200817 yr What does Kazumi mean? Cool name. this is what i found: Origin:Japanese Meaning:Beautiful harmony cute pics Edited March 29, 200817 yr by Keisha

March 30, 200817 yr Brilliant photos!!! Love them. Especially where you're topping him up. He looks as though he's been "handwashed" and this is his final rinse!! He doesnt seem to mind the shower at all!! I agree that birds are sooo cute when bathing!! the way they try to get each and every nook and cranny of their little feathered bodies wet!! Very very cute!!!
March 31, 200817 yr Adorable pics. I know what you mean by some love the water and some just dont. I have some birds when its hot and I turn on the hose that will sit right up on the front perch of the aviaries and turn their little faces up to the sky and just LOVE the drenching and yet others dive to the back of the aviary obviously NOT wanting their shower! Kazumi is adorable
