March 18, 200817 yr Author Sorry still no good DOH .... still trying I've followed the directions. it worked the first time I tried a few months ago. is it cool to just give you my photo bucket log in and password (only use it for this wedsite anyway ) and just let you log in and look, or is that not the done thing ?
March 18, 200817 yr Author wow I did it ...... thats my babies ... they don't live in the bucket that was when I was cleaning the breeding box ( every bloody day they are sooo messy )
March 18, 200817 yr ALly I think the only problem you had was that the sizes were to large... once I shrunk them down they seemed to be fine... if you have a good photo program there should be an option to compress the files... and then click the web page option... most times that will make the photo small enough to fit on these posts... at least with my programs it does...
March 18, 200817 yr Author Im at work and we cant download any programs ..... the third photo was an old one I posted of the parents in one of my first post on here, to see if my cage set up was okay.. now I have a new cage it's huge (on wheels )last attempt at the pics of mum and dad "sunny and Rodger " named by my 9 yrs old daughter.havnt named the babies yet [/img] Edited March 18, 200817 yr by Ally
March 18, 200817 yr You have an Albino, a Creamino a Yf2 opaline... maybe another gene thrown into that aswell and the last bubs a sky blue normal
March 18, 200817 yr Kaz or the others will tell you what they are, I am going to guess the white and yellow are split albino and split lutino somethings Or maybe split lacewing.... No don't listen to me I wouldn't have a clue I;m hopeless at picking out the colours... I just know what looks good and yours do EDIT: didn't see libbys post... of course its a Cream not Lut. I'm such a fool. Edited March 18, 200817 yr by JimmyBanks
March 18, 200817 yr Author Thanks Jimmy banks for all your help ..... now does anyone know what the names of my budgie colours are ? I'd love to know, I'm amazed at the different colours I got.
March 18, 200817 yr Author I have homes for 2 of them and I'm going to keep 2 ..... but which ones ..... any sugestions ... I would also like to get 2 new mates for the 2 I keep, now that my cage is sooo huge I have room for lots. Is that the right thing to do ? do they need mates or are they happy with each other and mum and dad ? I just want them to be happy.
March 18, 200817 yr You have an Albino, a Creamino a Yf2 opaline... maybe another gene thrown into that aswell and the last bubs a sky blue normal 1st picture White one - Albino Colourful one - YF2 opaline (yellow faced 2 opaline(not sure what 2 means maybe double factor)) 2nd Picture Yellow into white - Creamino Blue one - Sky blue normal opaline and normal speak of the feather pattern... i think... can someone more knowledgable please correct me if I got anything mixed up....
March 18, 200817 yr Author sorry for my stupidity but which is which, you'll have to dumb it down for me .. i.e. the white one is called .... the yellow one is called ... etc. sorry didnt see last post Edited March 18, 200817 yr by Ally
March 18, 200817 yr All depends on if you wish to breed them do you have pictures of your cage, so people can see if it is an appropriate size for your birds and as for which ones to keep, that all depends on your personal preference
March 18, 200817 yr I know what ones I'd be keeping... I a lover of ino's (Creamino and Albino) love the eyes... but like libby said its your personal tastes that matter... And if you wanna know what I'd breed with them... a lacewing and a Texas Clearbody... Edited March 18, 200817 yr by JimmyBanks
March 18, 200817 yr okay the albino is the totally white bird with red eyes... The creamino is the White bird with red eyes and a yellow wash over it The yf2 opaline is the bird with the yellow head and blue body with The oddly marked wings ( those markings are opaline) and the blue normal is the blue with black wings Hope that helps
March 18, 200817 yr Author are any of them harder to get than the others, might affect which ones I keep. How long till I can tell the sex ? I read the forums on the behaviour (sex wise) but I don't trust myself to guess. I would like to have pairs, if that is the done thing to make them happy.
March 18, 200817 yr Well... I don't know if they are rarer but I would of thought the Creamino is probably the hardest to find out of them all... then the Albino... right guys??
